Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye.

Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye is the Chancellor of Caleb University, Imota. Her appointment was announced in February 2026, three days after the University conferred on her the honorary degree of Doctor of Humanity honoris causa at its fifteenth convocation. As Chancellor she presides over the University's convocations, confers its degrees, and serves as its ceremonial head.

She was born Foluke Adenike Adeyokunnu on 13 July 1948 in Ijeshaland, Osun State. She was educated at Methodist Primary School, Oke Eshe, and Methodist Girls' School, Agurodo, both in Ilesha, and holds a Grade II teacher's certificate from the United Missionary College, Ibadan, and a Diploma in Education in science and mathematics from the College of Education, University of Lagos.

She began her working life as a classroom teacher in Ibadan. It is a beginning that has marked everything since: across more than five decades of public life, her work has returned again and again to the education, formation and welfare of the young.

She is a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, where she serves as Director of Women Affairs, and is known throughout the Church and far beyond it as Mummy G.O. She is married to Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Church.

Much of her outreach is directed at those least able to speak for themselves. She founded Heritage Homes, which cares for orphaned and abandoned children, and Habitation of Hope, which works with children living on the street. She leads Certain Women, a welfare ministry for widows, and convenes the Feast of Esther, an international gathering of women in ministry. She is also a conference speaker and an author.

In July 2022 she received an honorary doctorate in education from Benson Idahosa University, Benin. Announcing her appointment as Chancellor, the University described her as a guardian of values and a steady moral compass in turbulent times.
